iHIVARNA in the 15th European AIDS Conference – EACS

iHIVARNA Project’s Scientific Coordinator, Dr. Felipe Garcia, was invited to present the project’s status and some of the preclinical results obtained during the first phase of the iHIVARNA’s trials in the parallel session “Prospects for HIV Cure and Post Treatment Remission” during the last EACS conference.

The European AIDS Clinical Society (EACS) held its 15th Conference in Barcelona last October. It brought together a great number of researchers and companies actually working in this field that presented and commented the last updates in HIV.

iHIVARNA is actually planning and preparing the phase IIa Clinical Trial, which will start once the results from the previous one confirms the efficacy and safety of the new combination.

During the conference Dr. Garcia also met Alessandra Martini, the European Commission officer for the iHIVARNA project, to perfrom a follow up on the project advancement, discussing the next steps, and sharing information about other proposals linked to iHIVARNA that have been planned to study alternative funding support for deploying the vaccine.
